Error 2: Sitecore 9 Installation Fails with “Error: .NET SqlClient Data Provider Msg 12809
while Installing Sitecore 9 using SIF you may get an error ”
SITECORE 9 INSTALLATION FAILS WITH “ERROR: .NET SQLCLIENT DATA PROVIDER MSG 12809”
Cause: This happens when your first installation fails and to resolve the error you make the changes in deployment script and re-run the script.
Impact: When you run the installation script, the script creates some Sitecore related database in your SQL server instance
Solution
Delete the SQL database that has been created by the installation script and rerun the Sitecore installation script using a power-shell in admin mode.
